Victoria will need more renewable energy infrastructure to meet its target of net zero emissions by 2045. How do we approach this technology shift in a way that helps make Victoria’s electricity system affordable, reliable and sustainable?
In this webinar, we take a deep dive into the challenge of managing Victoria’s energy transition. How will policy and infrastructure support the transition? What role will all levels of government, the energy markets and the community play to bring about this major change? We also look at the challenges around climate risk, supply chain issues, the economic impact and community concerns, and importantly, how to tackle these to provide reliable, affordable energy to Victorian households.
The panel
- Jill Riseley, Acting Chief Executive, Infrastructure Victoria
- Carolyn Francis, Assistant Commissioner, Office of the Australian Energy Infrastructure Deputy Commissioner
- Stan Krpan, Chief Executive, Solar Victoria
