You’re invited to join Infrastructure Victoria on Thursday, 20 March to discuss Victoria’s draft 30-year infrastructure strategy update, the recommendations most relevant to Metropolitan Melbourne and participate in a live Q&A.

Victoria's 30-year infrastructure strategy provides a practical roadmap for the next 5 to 30 years. It aims to inform Victorian Government planning for sectors including housing, energy, transport, health, social infrastructure, and the environment.

As the state’s independent infrastructure adviser, Infrastructure Victoria updates Victoria’s 30-year infrastructure strategy every 3 to 5 years.

The 2025 draft 30-year strategy has been independently prepared by our team of economists, land use planners and social researchers using the latest available data and new modelling.

But we’re not finished yet – we want to hear from you.

At this webinar we will discuss the draft strategy, including its objectives, 43 draft recommendations and 7 draft future options. We will focus on the recommendations most relevant to Melbourne local government areas. And we’ll answer your questions to ensure you have the relevant information to guide your feedback.

The panel

  • Dr Jonathan Spear, CEO, Infrastructure Victoria
  • Eloise Modun, Director, Research and Policy, Infrastructure Victoria
