Submissions have closed on recycling evidence base report
Submissions have now closed on Infrastructure Victoria’s Recycling and resource recovery infrastructure – Evidence base report. In total Infrastructure Victoria received 53 submissions from local councils, industry groups and private companies. The Evidence base report outlines our work to date which identifies opportunities for investment, new processes and community action.
To help shape the Evidence base report and build our understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing the waste sector in each region, Infrastructure Victoria held workshops in Melbourne, Shepparton, Ballarat and Traralgon where we directly heard from over 120 stakeholders.
Infrastructure Victoria’s project team are now analysing all responses which will inform the final advice due to the Special Minister of State in April 2020.
